Could you volunteer at West Point Elementary School for 2 hours this year?
Then consider being a P.I.E. volunteer. There is no commitment required. Once a year or once a month, we appreciate your help!


Check books both in and out, shelve books, process new books and magazines.

Paper Recycling Program

Assist 5th grade students with bagging and weighing the paper recycling twice a month

Special School Events

Volunteers are occasionally requested to help with other school events.

Steps to Volunteering at West Point Elementary

  1. Complete P.I.E. Application
  2. Obtain proper clearances

    • Criminal Background Check
    • Child Abuse Clearance
    • FBI fingerprints (necessary for field trips) or Affidavit
    • Confidentiality agreement
  3. Submit all of the above to the WPT office
  4. Have your photo taken at the Administration Building for your Volunteer Badge.

The safety of our children is our number one priority. Your Volunteer Badge must be worn at all times while you are in the building. 

Already completed your clearances?

Please remember all clearances must be current. All volunteers need to obtain new clearances every 60 months (5 years). Volunteers are responsible to purchase and submit clearances to the school.
